Emily Cooke started her fitness journey by completing a Spin Instructor course and started teaching at her local gym. She quickly got the fitness bug and wanted to teach other classes. She studied the Level 2 Exercise to Music and the Level 2 Gym Instructor with Fit4Training in June/July 2014.
"Jo was amazing and inspired me to get on, complete the course and give me confidence along the way as well as in depth knoweldge and confidence to actually take ETM classes."
"Again, Paul was fantastic and his knowledge is second to none."
Since completing both qualifications, Emily has worked in her local gym and her classes are fully booked most weeks. She instructs on average 5 classes per week. She feels that the customers and feedback she receives makes her job worthwhile, giving her great job satisfaction.
Emily also instructed four bootcamps which were all fully booked and the results clients acheived have been priceless. One of her clients who completed each of her Bootcamps in addition to attending some of her group exercise and spin classes has lost an amazing 7 stone!
Having also completed Clubbercise training, Emily has launched her own classes in Hereford, held in a fantastic hall, Core Skate, which is community based.
She decided to aim for low attendance initially for 'launch night' to simply assess how many participants the hall could accommodate. She had 69 attend this first class....
99 the following week....
and 93 just last week! Amazing numbers!
As well as setting up her own classes, Emily still works full-time but she is keen to progress her own classes in the community. She has done her bit for charity and participated in, and instructed a 24-hour spinathon and several 1.5 hour charity spin classes, where all the money has gone to charity.
Emily's next plan is to progress to the Level 3 Personal Trainer and also Fitness for Adolescents. She is a big sponsor of 'This Girl Can' campaign, which is a Sport England initiative to inspire women of all ages to participate in exercise.
"I would certainly recommend Fit4Training to anyone. The training is great, fun and very reasonably priced for anyone like myself wanting to start out in their fitness journey"
